Junior Consultant


Location: Hybrid/Remote

Role Overview
As a Recruitment Consultant at Freedom People, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the workforce of our clients and contributing to the success of their businesses. You will be responsible for end-to-end recruitment, from understanding client requirements to sourcing, interviewing, and placing top-tier candidates. This role demands a combination of excellent communication skills, market knowledge, and a passion for connecting people with opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their business needs.
  • Provide strategic advice to clients on market trends, talent availability, and recruitment best practices.

Candidate Sourcing & Assessment

  • Utilise various sourcing methods to identify and attract top-quality candidates.
  • Conduct interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates’ skills, qualifications, and cultural fit.

End-to-End Recruitment

  • Manage the entire recruitment process, from job profiling to offer negotiation and onboarding.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience by providing timely and constructive feedback.

Market Research

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, salary benchmarks, and talent landscape to provide informed recommendations to clients.

Achieving Targets

  • Meet and exceed individual and team recruitment targets.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to expand the client base and strengthen existing relationships.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven experience as a Recruitment Consultant or in a similar role within the recruitment industry.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment best practices and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Results-driven with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Management

  • Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their evolving needs and providing strategic recruitment solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for account expansion and revenue growth.

Team Leadership & Mentorship

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior consultants, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
  • Conduct training sessions and share industry insights to enhance the team’s skills and knowledge.

Strategic Recruitment

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment processes for senior and executive-level positions.
  • Develop and implement strategic recruitment plans aligned with client goals and industry trends.

Market Analysis & Trends

  • Stay abreast of market trends, industry developments, and talent landscape to provide proactive insights to clients and the internal team.

Business Development

  • Actively participate in business development activities, including pitching services to potential clients and contributing to the growth of the client portfolio.

Business Development

  • Set and achieve ambitious recruitment targets, driving personal and team success.
  • Regularly analyse and report on key performance metrics.

  • Proven experience as a Senior Consultant, with a focus on executive-level placements.
  • Demonstrated success in client management and business development.
  • Strong leadership and mentorship capabilities.
