Junior Account Manager

My client is a supplier that has a strong customer base, consisting of high street retailers in the UK and Ireland. The sophisticated menswear company is currently looking for a driven Junior Account Manager who is passionate about product to join their team and really push and drive the business forward.

The Role:

  • Identify areas of growth for the business and really driving it forward by generating new ideas and maximising on repeat business and sales, as well as opening new accounts
  • Responsible for arranging and holding client meetings, being the first point of contact if any issues arise
  • Visiting current customers, potential stores and maintain a good relationship with them
  • Obtain and process orders and organize the dispatch of goods from the warehouse
  • Full ownership of available stock deliveries

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven experience working in a similar Junior Account Management position for a supplier to UK and the ability to build successful relationships
  • A strong commercial eye and the ability to foresee potential opportunities and use them to grow the business
  • Excellent negotiation skills, a decisive character and the command to implement new ideas quickly and efficiently
  • Confident and resilient, with a sales driven attitude
  • Must be willing to travel and own a car with a Full -clean UK driver's license
  • 2-3 Years' experience working in Account Management
