H&M′S 2019 Designer Collaboration

It was announced last night that Giambattista Valli is the latest designer to join H&M’s annualised designer collaboration, and in a twist, the haute couture designer and H&M are releasing a pre-drop collection on Saturday May 24th in select stores and online.

Kendall Jenner, Chris Lee (Li Yuchun), Chiara Ferragni, H.E.R., Bianca Brandolini d’Adda and Ross Lynch walked amfAR gala’s red carpet in Cannes with Giambattista Valli and H&M’s Creative Advisor Ann-Sofie Johansson for the announcement.

Giambattista Valli said “I am excited about this collaboration: H&M gives me the opportunity to bring my vision of style and my celebration of beauty to a wider audience. The goal is to share my love for beauty and to be able to be part of everyone’s “happy moments", to help create love stories all around the world."

This will be the first time in the retailer’s history where the collaboration will become available almost immediately after the announcement. The main Giambattista Valli x H&M collection launches worldwide on November 7, 2019.

H&M’s Ann-Sofie Johansson added “We are thrilled to collaborate with Giambattista Valli. He is the undisputed master of haute couture with a knack for the memorable silhouette. To be able to bring his signature styles to our customers is a dream come true. We can’t wait to see their reactions to this beautiful collection.”
